Fanart - with my own person twist - of the absolutely epic rat enemy from Parasite Eve, one of the scariest and most effed-up games ever... AND one that is incredibly high on my lists of favorites. As kids, my sisters and I used to watch a demo disc's preview of the game without my mom knowing, kinda like a dare, because it creeped us out so much... Who would've guessed that many, many years later, I'd be deeply in love with the game! The first rat's transformation is easily my favorite scene in the game, and these guys are also my favorite enemy from the series... MAYBE tying with the reanimated t-rex, because I mean... ZOMBIE BONES T-REX.

ANYWAY, this was my final art project, and sorry about the absolutely atrocious quality... Because of the scale of this drawing, I had to take a picture of it versus scanning. Haven't taken a single one that I like, but I just settled with this one.

This and this image were used as references, but I did screw around with the anatomy on my own a bit, particularly in the limbs and hunched shoulders because why not.

Oh, and the characters to the left of the rat reads "Parasite Eve" in Japanese.

YEEESSS.  ROCK ON.
First off, awesome coloring and texture.
Second, this game is a CLASSIC.  The scene where the rat mutates still holds up, even by today's standards, in my opinion.  You did a fantastic job with your own interpretation.  X3
