Description
Ha ha okay so before anyone goes "well that doesn't look right" regarding the beam of light from the fetus-like being in the top-left down to the creature's face, yes, it was a deliberate act to make the light that radiant, thus standing out drastically from the darkness. Same goes for the two tubes extending from the bottom creature's head and the slime-like substance from what is meant to be reminiscent of some sort of amnion. These decisions were made to be representative that these two beings technically exist in varying dimensions, yet are still connected (the appendages "reach" for each other but disappear in the middle, symbolizing the splitting of "realms"). Just so that's clear, ha ha.
Artwork I created over like, seven hours, featuring my character Iron Lung. His concept literally came from a single Rammstein lyric haha, one that only relates to a minor part of him, but... that's how my brain works ig lmao.
Iron Lung's life depends on his fetus form. As you can see, its umbilical feeds into itself (from its abdomen into his eye socket), basically empowering itself; the energy sparks up electricity that flows into Iron Lung's three tubes, giving him the ability to live. In the "real world," the ends of these three IV-like tunnels simply dissipate into nothingness. He lives one hell of a tortured existence, being a blind AND mute man in a purely diabolical mob that uses him as a punching bag.
