Oh, dearest scanner, I wish you knew how much I appreciate you devouring the quality of every picture I upload.
I don't believe I've ever drawn a single picture that has taken me five hours. ._. But, it was worth it, definitely. I'm very proud of this.<3 I started it last night while listening to one of my favorite songs, "Monsoon" by Tokio Hotel.♥ YOU NEED TO LISTEN. I finished it today, considering I had to stay at home from school due to an ear-splitting migraine that's been with me since yesterday, and I've felt super feverish. I'm feeling all right now, thankfully. Hope that'll stay. Instead of mixing in some fantasy into drawings as I generally do, this go-around I was aiming for realism; I think I did all right. It felt good to draw again... artistic muse has been DEEAAD. So, this was refreshing. Got another picture coming up soon too that I started working on today- it's almost done. It's a nice return to demonic-based fantasy. Hope you like this!

The colours in this look stunning and I can defiantly see the time and effort put into all these details. wonderful to see a full blow picture form you -- all the better is being a meerkat XD
Though the text is a little hard to read against the red. I suggest running a faded or low opacity white behind it to help it pop just a tad more. Also for future reference, maybe giving a meerkat in this pose or a similar pose a bit more arch to the back - i think it would help to give the appearance of a fuller body and appear less stiff.
Other then that, looks great! you did a good job blending the fur and making it look nice and detailed. same with the plants and landscape around the animal. And the classic fiery Kalahari sky <3
